Moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Temesgen got his start as an online assistant editor working mostly in unscripted content. Two years later, he transitioned to scripted television and joined Level 3 Post as an online editor / vfx artist. The visual effects workload helped shape his eye for photography, eventually leading to his interest in color. He was fortunate enough to be mentored and trained by a senior colorist as he made the transition to dailies color, and soon after was assigned his own show.

Temesgen currently works as a final colorist at Point360, located in Burbank. His credits span across networks such as AppleTV+, Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, and Paramount+, to name a few.

Temesgen created MobiusGrade to meet creatives who don’t necessarily have the budget for the finishing services arranged by a post house. His goal is to help fill that gap by providing the same level of professional quality work a producer would receive at a post facility.
